The KT11P2JM is a sealed surface-mount tactile switch from the C&K KT Series, featuring a 0.093 inch (2.36 mm) hard plastic actuator with momentary contact operation. The switch is housed in a 6.22 × 6.38 mm stainless steel body with an internal actuator seal and insert-molded tin-lead plated copper alloy terminals that permit soldering and cleaning. It is rated for 1.0 VA maximum at 50 V AC or DC, with contact resistance below 50 milliohms typical at 2–4 V DC and 100 mA, and achieves 100,000 make-and-break cycles at full load. The switch operates across -40 °C to 90 °C, provides 10? ohms minimum insulation resistance, and offers 250 V RMS dielectric strength at sea level with IP57 protection against dust and temporary immersion. Typical applications include telecommunications equipment, computer products, and instrumentation where reliable momentary switching and environmental sealing are required.
