DESCRIPTION

The 622-1641LF is a 16-position female socket connector from the 622 series, designed for terminating ribbon cables. It features contacts on a .100 x .100 inch grid and is supplied with a strain relief for enhanced cable support. The connector has a blue, UL 94V-0 rated glass-filled thermoplastic housing and beryllium copper contacts. Contacts are plated with gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end. This military-polarized connector is suitable for 26-28 AWG solid or stranded PVC insulated ribbon cable and is used for creating reliable wire-to-board interconnects.
