DESCRIPTION

The 2-5499141-3 is a 16-position universal ejection pin header from the AMP-LATCH product line, designed for right-angle PCB mounting. It features a 2.54 x 2.54 mm centerline, square 0.64 mm posts with 30µin gold plating in the mating area, and tin-plated solder tails. The blue, 4-sided shrouded housing is made from UL 94V-0 rated polyester and incorporates long ejection latches and multiple polarization types for a secure connection. This header is recommended for 1.57 mm thick PCBs and is compatible with wave soldering processes up to 265°C, ensuring robust assembly in various electronic applications.
