DESCRIPTION

The 5788801-1 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 series right-angle posted D-Sub receptacle connector designed for PCB mounting. It features 25 socket contact positions within a size 3 front metal shell, which provides EMI/RFI protection. This connector is configured with boardlocks for secure placement on the PCB before soldering and fixed female screwlocks for robust mating. The phosphor bronze contacts are duplex plated with 0.000030 inches of gold on the mating end and tin on the solder tails over a nickel underplate, ensuring reliable connections. Housed in a UL 94V-0 rated thermoplastic, this connector is ideal for industrial and commercial applications requiring a durable, board-mounted I/O solution.
