DESCRIPTION
The 5745967-8 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 series 25-position straight-posted D-sub receptacle connector. It features a durable, tin-plated steel front metal shell with a UL 94V-0 rated black thermoplastic housing and is equipped with 4-40 threaded inserts for secure mounting. The size 20 DF posted socket contacts are made of phosphor bronze with gold flash plating on the mating end and tin on the termination end over a nickel underplate. This shell size 3 connector has a post length of .125 inches, recommended for PCB thicknesses from .062 to .093 inches. It is designed for reliable board-level connections in various electronic applications and is intermateable with standard subminiature D connectors.
