DESCRIPTION

The 6384-0 is a user-installable banana jack for creating custom-length test leads. It is designed for use with stranded wire from 18 to 22 AWG with an insulation diameter of 0.060” to 0.150” and can be attached by either crimping or soldering. This jack is rated for a handheld operating voltage of 300V maximum and a current of up to 15A with 18 AWG wire. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass jack and Santoprene insulation, it operates in temperatures from -29°C to 135°C. When properly assembled, it provides a safe connection compliant with IEC1010 CAT II 300V standards, making it suitable for various test and measurement applications.
