The HBL2821ST is a 30 Amp, 3-phase 277/480V Twist-Lock Insulgrip plug featuring Hubbell's patented screwless spring termination technology. This 4-pole, 5-wire device eliminates the need for torque drivers and reduces termination time to approximately 11.8 seconds per connection—an 80% improvement over traditional screw-terminated devices. The plug incorporates strong steel springs that continuously apply pressure to wires, ensuring reliable connections even in high-vibration industrial environments where traditional connections may loosen over time. The device is cULus listed to UL 498 and CSA C22.2 No. 42, and meets Federal Specification W-C-596 performance requirements.
