DESCRIPTION

The SC648S is a panel-mount siren alarm designed to produce a loud, sweeping audible signal. It operates on a wide voltage range from 10 to 48 Vdc, generating a sound level of at least 80 dB(A) at 10 Vdc and 90 dB(A) at 48 Vdc, measured at 2 feet. The alarm's characteristic sound is a tone that sweeps up from 1900 Hz to 2900 Hz and back down in 0.2 seconds. Maximum current draw is 25 mA at 10 Vdc and 35 mA at 48 Vdc. Housed in a black 6/6 Nylon case, this UL Recognized alarm is suitable for various signaling applications within an operating temperature range of -30°C to +65°C.
