DESCRIPTION
The GX16CE is a 600+ Amp 12-800 VDC EPIC® hermetically sealed DC contactor designed for demanding power switching applications requiring high reliability and environmental protection. It features dual DC coils (12, 24, or 48 VDC options) with very low continuous coil power (7.8 W) and built-in coil suppression, eliminating the need for external suppression components and reducing EMI emissions. The contactor is rated for 1,000,000 mechanical cycles with a maximum contact resistance of 0.3 mO and operates over an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +85°C. Its rugged EPIC® seal is rated to 175°C and meets UL1604, IP67, SAE J1171, and ISO8846 standards for use in hazardous locations and environments with flammable gases. The GX16CE is ideal for battery-powered systems, renewable energy applications, and aerospace-grade switching where low power consumption, hermetic sealing, and corrosion resistance are critical.
