DESCRIPTION

The SL130W is a sound level alert device designed for continuous monitoring of acoustic environments with programmable high and low alarm thresholds. It features a 4.6 x 3.125" multifunction LCD display, measurement ranges from 30 to 130 dB with 0.1 dB resolution, and a 0.5" electret condenser microphone with 180° rotation capability. The device employs bright red and green LEDs visible from 30 meters (100 feet) to indicate when sound levels exceed or fall below user-set limits (30 to 130 dB), with frequency weighting options ('A' and 'C') and programmable response times (Fast 125ms or Slow 1s). It meets ANSI Type 2 and EN 60651 accuracy standards and includes an alarm output (3.5mm mono phone plug, maximum 3.4 mA @ 5 VDC) to drive external relay modules. The SL130W is ideal for industrial facilities, hospitals, auditoriums, classrooms, and other environments requiring real-time acoustic monitoring and alert capabilities.
