DESCRIPCIÓN
The 8209-6000 is a D Sub plug connector from the 3M 8200 Series designed for general-purpose signal and power interconnection applications. It features a glass-filled polyester (PBT) insulation body with copper alloy contacts plated with nickel underplating and gold wiping area, and a steel shell with stainless steel strain relief. The connector is rated for 1 A per contact, 1000 V RMS withstanding voltage at sea level, and insulation resistance greater than 1 × 10? O at 500 VDC, with an operating temperature range of -55 °C to +105 °C. It accommodates 26 and 28 AWG solid or stranded wire and is available in multiple contact configurations (9, 15, 25, or 37 positions) with open or closed end covers and four mounting options. The low-profile design with improved metal strain relief hooks and optional dimples for EMI/ESD protection makes it suitable for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications where reliable, compact interconnection is required.
