DESCRIPTION

The 63809-1 is a Mark II 250 Series straight positive lock receptacle designed for secure and easy assembly to mating tabs. It accommodates a wire range of 18-14 AWG and is intended for tabs with a thickness of 0.025 inches. This terminal is constructed from tin-plated brass with a stock thickness of 0.016 inches and accepts an insulation diameter from 0.090 to 0.155 inches. As a positive lock terminal, it provides a distinct mechanical 'snap' upon proper seating and locks onto tabs with holes, enhancing connection reliability and safety in applications where accidental disconnection is a concern.
