DESCRIPTION

The 499582-1 is a universal ejection pin header connector designed for PCB mounting applications. It features 10 positions arranged in a 2.54 x 2.54 mm centerline matrix with a standard profile and vertical PCB mount orientation. The connector incorporates ACTION PIN retention posts, gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts over nickel, and a glass-filled nylon housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The termination posts measure 0.64 x 0.76 mm with a length of 4.42 mm, and the connector accommodates PCB thicknesses of 2.36 to 3.18 mm. This connector is commonly used in ribbon cable and flat flex wire applications where reliable, polarized connections and secure PCB retention are required.
