DESCRIPTION

The MCP1256-E/UN is an inductorless, positive regulated charge pump DC/DC converter designed to generate a fixed 3.3V output from an input voltage of 1.8V to 3.6V. It can supply an output current of up to 100 mA and operates at a fixed switching frequency of 650 kHz, which helps avoid interference with sensitive IF bands. This model features a low-power SLEEP mode to reduce quiescent current and a power-good output to indicate out-of-regulation conditions. Packaged in a 10-Lead MSOP for space-constrained designs, it is ideal for battery-powered applications like portable instruments and home automation products.
