BESCHRIJVING

The THS50100RJ is a 50-watt aluminium-housed wire-wound power resistor designed for high-power dissipation applications requiring rapid heat transfer to a specified heatsink. It features a maximum working voltage of 1250 V DC or AC rms, a dielectric strength of 2500 V AC peak, and an ohmic range from 0.01 O to 50 kO with 5% standard tolerance. The resistor exhibits excellent long-term stability with ±1% resistance change over 1000 hours and a temperature coefficient of 30 ppm/°C (above 100 O), with an insulation resistance of 10,000 MO minimum in dry conditions. It is mounted on a standard heatsink with 53,500 mm² area and 1 mm thickness, featuring 2 mounting holes for secure installation. Common applications include braking resistors, balancing resistors, capacitor charging and discharging circuits, crowbar protection, and general electrical machinery use in power supplies and power generation systems.
