BESCHRIJVING

The 499160-8 is a universal ejection pin header connector featuring the AMP-LATCH product line design for ribbon cable interconnects. It provides 34 positions with a 2.54 × 2.54 mm (0.100 × 0.100 inch) centerline matrix spacing and includes preloaded square contacts with gold plating (30 µm) in the mating area for reliable electrical connections. The connector features a shrouded 4-sided housing constructed from thermoplastic with glass fiber reinforcement (UL 94V-0 rated), short ejection latches, and dual polarizing bars for military-grade mating alignment. With a termination post length of 2.79 mm (0.110 inch) and tin-lead solder tail plating, it supports wave solder processes up to 265°C and is suitable for vertical PCB mounting on 1.57 mm (0.062 inch) thick boards. This connector is ideal for applications requiring robust, repeatable interconnections in industrial and military equipment where secure mating and easy disconnection are essential.
