BESCHRIJVING

213841-4 is a .125 POWERBAND socket contact designed for high-current power applications in AMP Precision Pin and Socket Contacts. This contact features a copper body with beryllium copper spring, rated for 10-8 AWG wire (5-8 mm²) with a 50-ampere test current in free air. The contact body is finished with 0.00076 inches (0.00076 mm) minimum gold plating over 0.00127 inches (0.00127 mm) nickel underplate, with the retention spring nickel plated for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The socket accommodates a 0.125-inch (3.175 mm) diameter pin and features a standard pin length of 10.16 mm (0.400 inches). This contact is commonly used in Metrimate Drawer Connectors and other AMP Multimate connector housings for reliable high-current wire-to-wire connections in automotive, industrial, and power distribution applications.
