BESCHRIJVING

The 165590-1 is a SHUR-PLUG pin terminal designed for electrical connections in industrial applications requiring reliable wire termination. This terminal accommodates 22-16 AWG wire sizes (0.25–1.60 mm²) and features a tin-plated copper body per ASTM B-545 with a nylon insulation sleeve (UL 94V-2) for corrosion protection and dielectric strength. The terminal has a width of 0.156 inch (3.96 mm) and a length of 0.799 inch (20.30 mm), with a maximum wire insulation diameter of 0.138 inch (3.50 mm). It incorporates inner serrations for maximum electrical contact and tensile strength, along with a copper metallic sleeve for vibration resistance and improved wire insulation support. The terminal is rated for 300 V operating voltage and 105 °C maximum operating temperature, making it suitable for instruments, control systems, lighting, power supplies, panel boxes, transportation, and lifting equipment applications.
