3M Static Shielding Bag 1901418 is an open-top static shielding bag designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. The bag is manufactured from a polyester, metal, and polyethylene laminate construction with a static dissipative coating and aluminum shield layer to provide ESD shielding and minimize electric field penetration. It features dimensions of 14 inches width by 18 inches length, with a thickness of 2.8 mils (0.071 mm ±15%), tensile strength of 5100 PSI (35 MPa), and puncture resistance of 12 lbs (53 N). The bag is heat-sealable at 375°F (190°C) for 0.5–3.5 seconds under 30–70 PSI pressure, and meets ANSI/ESD S541 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 compliance standards. These bags are ideal for protecting sensitive components during storage, handling, and transport in commercial electronics manufacturing and assembly environments.
