The MS3475W14-19S is a miniature circular connector from the DEUTSCH AFD series, qualified to MIL-DTL-26482 Series II, featuring a bayonet quick-connect coupling mechanism and environmental sealing designed to withstand harsh aerospace, defense, and marine environments. The connector utilizes a shell size 14 with a 14-19 insert arrangement, accommodating 19 contacts in size 20 configuration with available insert positions N, W, and X. The shell is constructed from aluminum alloy with nickel, black anodized, or olive drab cadmium over nickel base plating, while contacts are copper alloy with selective 50 µin gold plating and the insulator is rigid plastic dielectric with silicone seals. This connector is available in multiple receptacle mounting styles including square flange, wide square flange, cable connecting, and single-hole mount, with plugs available with or without EMI fingers. The combination of miniature size, sealed design, and rear release contacts makes it ideal for critical applications requiring reliable interconnection in vibration-prone, moisture-rich, and temperature-extreme environments typical of aircraft, missiles, and marine systems.
