The connector features a threaded 360° turn coupling mechanism with environmentally sealed construction and composite shell material with electroless nickel plating (2000-hour salt spray rating). It supports multiple contact sizes (8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 22, 23) with AS39029 contact type available in crimp, solder cup, and PCB tail styles, accommodating up to 187 maximum signal contacts depending on configuration. The connector operates across a wide temperature range of -65°C to +200°C and provides 500 mating cycles durability, with scoop-proof design and optional EMI spring fingers for enhanced electromagnetic interference control.
