M24308/4-2Z is a military-specification circular connector plug designed for reliable interconnection in demanding applications. The connector features a steel shell (per ASTM A 109) with zinc plating (minimum 0.0002 inches thick per ASTM-B-633) and yellow chromate finish for corrosion resistance. It utilizes size 22 pin contacts made from copper alloy with gold plating over nickel, and an insert assembly constructed from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) or glass-filled polyester material.
