BESCHRIJVING

8-338069-2 is a female-on-board surface mount device (SMD) connector with top entry and latches, part of the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector family featuring 1.27 mm contact spacing. The connector is designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections and supports 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) with tin-plated contact design that provides gas-tight, fretting corrosion-resistant connections. The positioning spring in the female contact absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, preventing contact spot movement and ensuring reliable long-term performance. This connector is widely used in automation and control applications including production equipment, robots, motors, heating units, automotive systems, and communication devices, offering full compatibility with male-on-wire (215083), male-on-board (215464), and COSI connectors (338095/338096/338097).
