The receptacle features a thermoplastic body in black with a phenolic wafer material, also black, and includes four contact cavities with brass threaded inserts (on the -2 variant; this -1 variant is without inserts). The connector is designed for panel mounting with a maximum panel thickness of 0.125 inches and includes four mounting holes with a diameter of 0.125 to 0.132 inches. Contact finishes include gold plating on the contact body (0.000030 inches minimum for 0.250 inches from the mating end, with gold flash for the remainder over 0.000050 inches minimum nickel) and tin-lead or tin plating on the contact posts over copper.
