BESCHRIJVING

58489-1 is a hex crimping die assembly designed for crimping various configurations of Commercial SMB connectors onto coaxial cable. The die assembly consists of an indenter die (stationary) and an anvil die (moving), which when closed form four crimping chambers—one for the center contact and three for crimping the ferrule onto various sizes of coaxial cable. The die openings are precisely specified: A = 2.39 mm [.094 in.] ±0.10 mm, B = 3.25 mm [.128 in.], C = 3.00 mm [.118 in.], and D = 0.635 mm [.025 in.] ±0.05 mm. Each die is secured in the tool by a single screw and is compatible with AMP PRO-CRIMPER II Hand Tool Frame Assembly 354940-1. This die assembly is intended for occasional use and low volume applications involving coaxial cable termination with Commercial SMB connectors.
