The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (30 µin) in the mating area, tin-plated solder posts with a length of 3.18 mm (0.125 in), and is housed in nylon material rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. It supports through-hole PCB mounting with a PCB thickness range of 1.19–1.60 mm (0.047–0.063 in) and includes PCB retention features via mounting holes.
