It features a full metal shell constructed from steel with zinc plating, gold-plated contact mating areas over palladium-nickel, and brass square-shaped contacts for reliable electrical connections. The connector supports PCB thicknesses of 0.062 mm (1.57 mm) to 0.093 mm (2.36 mm) with through-hole mounting, 0.64 mm post size, and 4.78 mm (0.188 in) solder tail length with tin plating.
