BESCHRIJVING

2221860-1 is a sealed AMPLIMITE D-subminiature connector plug from TE Connectivity, part of the Series 90 high-density line designed for harsh environments requiring water and dust ingress protection to IP67 levels. The connector features 15 positions using Size 22 contacts and incorporates multiple sealing mechanisms including a fluorosilicone rubber grommet, an 80/20 fluorosilicone/silicone rubber blend interfacial seal, and stainless steel retention clips to ensure reliable performance when submerged to 1 meter depth. The connector is constructed with a cadmium-plated steel shell, glass-filled polyester insert, and gold-plated copper alloy contacts, operating reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. It meets MIL-DTL-24308 specifications and uses AS39029 QPL rear-release crimp contacts rated for 5 A per Size 22 contact. This sealed connector is ideal for aerospace, defense, and marine applications where environmental sealing and mil-spec reliability are critical requirements.
