2118715-2 is a two-piece board level shielding (BLS) cover component manufactured by TE Connectivity designed to provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression and isolation of board-level components. The cover features dimensions of 16.90 mm × 16.90 mm × 2.00 mm with a material thickness of 0.15 mm, constructed from stainless steel, galvanized steel, pre-plated cold rolled steel (CRS), or aluminum with a minimum inner bending radius of 0.10 mm and co-planarity of 0.08 mm (size dependent). The component includes a pitch of dimples at 3.0 mm minimum spacing to facilitate secure attachment and alignment with the corresponding frame component.
