The lock plate accommodates wire ranges from 0.20 to 1.25 mm² [24 to 16 AWG] with wire insulation diameters of 1.4 to 2.6 mm [.055 to .102 inch], supporting both brass pre-tin and phosphor bronze contact materials with optional select gold plating. Double lock plates are sold separately, with one plate required for each connector housing, making this component essential for securing and sealing multi-position connector assemblies in demanding automotive and industrial applications.
