This Modicon MCM safe output expansion module has 4 single channel solid state OSSD high current (2A), which can be used as 4 single or 2 dual OSSD + 8 status outputs SIL 1/ PL c and is fitted with captive screw clamp terminals. It is designed to monitor remotely your safe I/O. It is furnished with screw clamp terminals, removable terminal block for electrical connection. It is an IP20 rated product. This safe I/O module figures configurable output activation and de-activation delays, independent control of pairs of outputs, and configurable diagnostic output signals. This module figures LEDs on its front face, displaying the status (power supply, run, internal or external errors, input and output status). This safe I/O module is connected to the safety controller via the backplane expansion connector. It weighs 0.15kg. Its dimension are 22.5mm (Depth), 99mm (Height) and 114.5mm (Width). Its housing is red. It is powered with 24 VDC. It is ideal for monitoring safety functions such as emergency stop, guard monitoring, perimeter guarding, position monitoring, speed monitoring and enabling movement. This safe I/O module is certified by RCM, CULus and TœV. It can reach such safety levels as category 4 conforming to EN/ISO 13849-1, PLe conforming to EN/ISO 13849-1, Type 4 conforming to EN/IEC 61496-1, and SILCL3 conforming to IEC 62061. Compatible accessories for Modicon MCM module are a memory card and the backplane connector. The module instals on Omega 35mm DIN rail conforming to EN 50022. The Modicon MCM modular safety controller system provide flexibility and scalability from 8 inputs, 2 dual/4 single channel outputs up to 128 inputs, 16 dual/32 single channel outputs, up to 32 or 48 diagnostic status outputs.
