The 6GL5B-78 is a G-Series toggle switch featuring a sealed nylon bat actuator with black enamel plated bushing, rated for 10A 250VAC, 15A 125VAC, and 3/4 HP 125-250VAC operation. This switch offers dielectric strength of 1000V (UL/CSA) between live and dead metal parts, with an electrical life of 50,000 cycles under maintained load and 25,000 cycles for momentary operation, plus a mechanical life of 100,000 cycles. The switch operates reliably across a temperature range of 0°C to 85°C (32°F to 185°F) and features UL, CSA, and VDE approvals for select circuits, making it suitable for low-voltage 12/24V DC applications. With its sealed design, multiple termination options (solder lug, .250 tab, screw terminal), and versatile circuit configurations, the 6GL5B-78 is ideal for marine, food service, generator, industrial control, and office automation applications where durability and reliability are essential.
