The XA1E-BV402-R is a 40mm mushroom-head emergency stop button designed for industrial control systems requiring direct opening action and safety-critical switching. This non-illuminated unit features 2 normally closed (2NC) main contacts with PCB board termination, operating at rated voltages up to 300V with a maximum main contact current rating of 5A at 125V or 250V. The button incorporates IDEC's proprietary "Safe break action" mechanism that ensures NC contacts open when the contact block is detached, combined with a direct opening action mechanism compliant with IEC60947-5-5 and IEC60947-5-1. Operating force is 10.5N for push-to-lock activation, with a minimum 60N force required for direct opening action. The device operates reliably across -25°C to +60°C with an insulation resistance of 100MO minimum (500V DC) and contact resistance of 50mO maximum, rated for 100,000 electrical operations minimum and 250,000 mechanical operations minimum. With IP65 degree of protection, gold-plated silver contacts, and compliance with UL508, UL931, and EN standards, this emergency stop switch is ideal for machinery control panels, process automation, and safety-critical applications requiring fail-safe operation.
