The MINIBEND-3 is a semi-rigid RF cable assembly featuring SMA male connectors on both ends, designed for high-frequency applications up to 24 GHz. It provides 50 Ohm impedance with a maximum VSWR of 1.4 and propagation velocity of 70%, offering excellent signal integrity across its operating bandwidth. The cable measures 76.2 mm (3 inches) in length with a 2.49 mm diameter, supporting a static bending radius of 5.08 mm and dynamic bending radius of 15.24 mm for flexible routing in compact installations. Operating across 0–24 GHz, the assembly delivers return loss ranging from 20.82 dB at low frequencies to 15.56 dB at 18–24 GHz, with insertion loss from 0.19 dB to 0.64 dB across the frequency spectrum. Rated for -55 °C to +125 °C operation and compliant with MIL-DTL-17 and MIL-PRF-39012, the MINIBEND-3 serves as a direct replacement for 086 size semi-rigid cables and is ideal for aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and test instrumentation applications requiring reliable, low-loss RF interconnection.
