The 1590Z120PL is a rugged diecast aluminum enclosure designed for electronic instrument protection and mounting. It features a two-piece tongue and groove construction with a replaceable one-piece silicone rubber gasket rated from -40°C to +150°C, providing watertight and dustproof protection suitable for repetitive opening and closing. The enclosure measures 4.90 inches in length and width, 3.15 inches in depth (less lid), with a wall thickness of 1.75 inches and lid thickness of 0.61 inches, and includes an internal mounting shelf for component organization. Four recessed stainless steel machine screws secure the lid into tapped holes, with self-captivating lid screws for easy installation. The unit is UL and cUL listed, certified to Type 4, 4X, 6, and 6P standards, designed to meet IP68 rating, and carries an IK08 impact rating per IEC62262. This enclosure is ideal for applications requiring robust environmental protection, such as outdoor electronics, industrial controls, and field-mounted instrumentation.
