BESCHRIJVING

The 1550WG is a rugged diecast aluminum electronic instrument enclosure from Hammond Manufacturing designed for applications requiring environmental protection and EMI/RFI shielding. This model features dimensions of 222 mm length, 146 mm width, and 55 mm height (including 4 mm lid), with lap joint construction that provides protection against dust and splashing water. The enclosure is available in natural vibra finish or textured black powder coat, with M3.5 x 0.6 x 12 mm stainless steel Phillips head machine screws securing the lid. The 1550WG is designed to meet IP54 rating without a gasket or IP66 with an included EVA foam gasket (rated to 65°C), with optional IP67 silicone gaskets available for enhanced protection. The smooth internal walls and low side wall draft angle facilitate easy installation of connectors and PC boards without interference or additional milling, making it ideal for electronic instrument enclosures, control panels, and industrial applications.
