The VMS-160-24 is a 160 W AC-DC power supply module designed to deliver 24 VDC output at up to 6.66 A continuous current with a compact 2" × 4" footprint and 18 W/in³ power density. It features universal input voltage acceptance (85–264 Vac / 125–373 Vdc), active power factor correction (98%), and typical efficiency of 90%, with output ripple and noise of 240 mVp-p maximum. The unit incorporates comprehensive protection including over-voltage protection (130%), over-current protection (150%), and short-circuit protection with auto-recovery, along with a 12 V auxiliary fan output for thermal management. It meets full medical and ITE safety approvals (UL 60950-1/60601-1, CE) with 5,656 Vdc isolation voltage (primary to secondary and primary to earth ground), operates across -20 °C to +70 °C, and achieves 200,000 hours MTBF under forced air cooling. This supply is ideal for medical equipment, industrial control systems, and telecommunications applications requiring reliable, compact power conversion with minimal load requirements.
