BESCHRIJVING

The 940C30S1K-F is a Type 940 polypropylene film capacitor designed for high-voltage pulse and snubber applications, rated at 3000 Vdc (500 Vac). It features dual metallized polypropylene electrodes that provide self-healing properties and exceptional high peak current carrying capability with a dV/dt rating of 2568 V/µs. The capacitor exhibits low ESR of 60 mO at 100 kHz and low inductance of 20 nH, enabling excellent high-frequency performance and fast transient response. With an operating temperature range of -55 °C to 105 °C (full rated voltage at 85 °C, derated linearly to 50% at 105 °C) and an insulation resistance exceeding 100,000 MO·µF, this capacitor is ideal for snubber circuits, pulse power systems, and high-voltage switching applications where rapid voltage rise rates and high reliability are critical.
