The SMLJ13A is a transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a surface mount SMC (DO-214AB) package with a standoff voltage of 13 V, peak pulse power dissipation of 3000 watts at 1 ms pulse width, and a peak forward surge current rating of 300 amps. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and offers fast response times typical of unidirectional TVS diodes.
