BESCHRIJVING

MOV-14D471K is a 14 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction in power supplies, power systems, and telecom applications. The device features a maximum continuous voltage rating of 300 V r.m.s., a nominal varistor voltage of 470 V, and a maximum peak current rating of 517 A with an 8/20 µs waveform. It delivers a maximum peak energy of 775 J (8/20 µs) and 4500 J (pF) with a fast response time of 10 ns typical and 25 ns maximum. The varistor operates across a temperature range of -40 °C to +105 °C with a rated wattage of 0.60 W and exhibits bidirectional surge protection with high energy absorption capability. This RoHS-compliant device is commonly used in power distribution, line voltage protection, white goods, and appliances where reliable transient suppression is critical.
