The HCTSM80308BAL-E1 is a high-clearance and creepage distance transformer from Bourns' HCTSM8 series, designed for isolated power supply applications in automotive and industrial systems. It features a 3:8 turns ratio with 300 µH primary inductance at 100 kHz, 0.7 µH maximum leakage inductance, and a toroid ferrite core for high coupling and low radiation. The transformer is rated for 350 mA AC, with primary and secondary DC resistance of 0.50 O and 0.85 O respectively, and provides reinforced insulation rated for 800 Vrms working voltage and 1000 Vpeak with 5 kVdc hi-pot rating. Operating across -40 °C to +125 °C with an 8 mm minimum clearance/creepage distance between primary and secondary windings, it complies with IEC 60950-1, IEC 62368-1, IEC 60664-1, and is AEC-Q200 compliant and RoHS compliant.
