The 73-558-0012I is an intelligent modular power system from Artesyn's iMP series, featuring a microprocessor-controlled PFC front end with seven slots accepting intelligent DC-DC converter modules with single, dual, or triple outputs ranging from 2 V to 60 V. The system delivers up to 1500 watts total power and supports thousands of output combinations through flexible module configurations that can be mixed, matched, and connected in parallel or series. Key technical characteristics include overall regulation of 0.4% or 20 mV maximum, ripple performance of 0.1% RMS or 10 mV (whichever is greater), dynamic response under 2% or 100 mV with 25% load step, and recovery time to within 1% in less than 300 microseconds. The system features full medical EN60601 approval, intelligent fan control with speed adjustment and fault status monitoring, configurable output sequencing, and PMBus-based power management with I²C control capability.
