MS3102R24-11P is a box mounting receptacle connector conforming to MIL-DTL-5015 and MIL-5015 Type standards, designed for lightweight environmental-resistant applications. The connector features a shell size 24 with a 1.5000-18NEF thread (Class 2A) and accommodates multiple contact arrangements with contact sizes ranging from 4 to 16. The MS-R class design incorporates a low-profile assembly with forward-positioned axial compression nut and grommet assembly, neoprene grommet with low coefficient of friction for easier wire bundle threading, and molded webs in each wire hole to ensure moisture barriers. Shell components are fabricated from high-grade aluminum alloy with cadmium plating and olive drab chromate finish for corrosion resistance, while contacts are machined from copper alloy for maximum corrosion resistance and current-carrying capacity.
