The 86005CY-SL005 is a 5-conductor shielded continuous flex data cable designed for industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable signal transmission in demanding environments. The cable features 28 AWG (7/36) tinned copper conductors with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation, arranged in a 5×1 configuration with 12.0 twists per foot minimum and wrapped with nonwoven polyester tape. A flexible aluminum/mylar shield with 90% tinned copper coverage and 26 AWG drain wire provides EMI/RFI protection, while the 0.040" nominal PVC jacket in slate color with tissue tape separator ensures durability and flexibility. Rated for 300 V RMS at 105°C with a bend radius of 8× cable diameter (static and dynamic), the cable operates across -10°C to +105°C (static) and +5°C to +105°C (dynamic), with sunlight resistance and compliance to UL AWM/STYLE 2661, CM, and CSA FT4 standards.
