3357-9209 is a metal D-Sub EMI junction shell designed to provide EMI/ESD protection for 9-position D-Sub connectors. The shell and hardware are constructed from nickel-plated steel, while the cover nut is made from unfilled thermoplastic (ABS) with UL94V-0 flammability rating in black color. Key dimensions include 1.18 inches (30.0 mm) for dimension A, 0.76 inches (19.4 mm) for dimension B, and a recommended cable size OD of 0.28 inches (7.0 mm). The lightweight, compact design features easy assembly to reduce time and labor costs, with an optional thumb screw kit available.
