Constructed with a lead-free vitreous enamel coating over a tubular ceramic core, its ribbed design aids in rapid cooling. This RoHS-compliant resistor has a temperature coefficient of ±400 ppm/°C and can withstand an overload of 10 times its rated wattage for 5 seconds. Engineered for equipment requiring high current capacity at low ohmic values, it is especially suited for applications like motor starting and dynamic braking.
