BESCHRIJVING

The 1N5555 is a JEDEC-registered unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) designed for high-speed overvoltage protection. It provides a peak pulse power rating of 1500 watts, a rated standoff voltage of 30.5 V, and a minimum breakdown voltage of 33.0 V. The device clamps transients to a maximum of 47.5 V at a 32 A peak pulse current, with a low standby current of 5 µA. With a response time of less than 100 picoseconds, it is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in applications like airborne avionics and systems exposed to inductive switching, RF interference, ESD, and secondary lightning effects.
