BESCHRIJVING
The 498050 is a MIDI® fuse rated at 50 A, 32 VDC, designed for high-current wiring protection with time-delay characteristics enabled by patented Diffusion Pill Technology. It features a nominal cold resistance of 1.04 mO and an interrupting rating of 1000 A at 32 VDC, providing reliable protection across a wide range of overcurrent conditions. The fuse exhibits time-delay behavior: at 100% of rated current it remains open for a minimum of 100 hours, at 150% it opens between 90 seconds and 1 hour, and at 300% it opens between 0.5 and 15 seconds. Operating across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, the 498050 is suitable for automotive, industrial, and marine high-current applications where space-saving bolt-on mounting and fast response to severe faults are required.
