V8D2S001-1ZZ00-000 is a sealed rocker switch designed for demanding marine, transportation, and industrial applications requiring robust environmental protection. The switch features IP66/68 sealing for above-panel components, a polyester blend base rated to 125°C with UL 94V0 flammability rating, and interchangeable Contura actuators with hard or soft surface options. It has been extensively tested to MIL Std 202F, MIL Std 510.1, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529, and BS 5490 standards, demonstrating exceptional corrosion resistance (MFG Class III 3-year accelerated exposure), vibration tolerance (10 G's at 10–500 Hz), and shock resistance (30 G's per MIL-Std 202F Method 213B). Operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C with actuator angular displacement of 18° for 2-position and 9° from center for 3-position configurations. These switches are ideal for on/off-highway vehicles, marine vessels, armored vehicles, mining machinery, and any application requiring sealed protection against moisture, dust, salt spray, and thermal shock.
