The HBL2825ST is a 30 A, 4-pole/5-wire flanged inlet rated for 3-phase Y 277/480 V applications, featuring Hubbell's patented Twist-Lock Edge screwless termination technology. The device employs strong steel springs that continuously apply pressure to wires, ensuring secure connections that remain tight even under constant vibration and in abusive industrial environments. Termination is accomplished in approximately 11 seconds without tools—simply insert the wire and press the plunger down—eliminating the need for torque drivers and reducing installation labor by up to 80% compared to screw-terminated alternatives. The flanged inlet is designed with easy termination access from the back and laser-etched terminal markings for clear wiring identification.
